Hello! I’m Cirrus (or Ciry) and this is my fanfiction archive.

I’ve been writing fanfiction since 2000. I’ve written for dozens of fandoms, but I’m most passionate about anime and Japanese video games. My home fandom for the last 10+ years has been Pokemon Gameverse. You may also find some of my original writing hosted here.

Outside of writing, I’m a health professional who is currently pursuing my master’s degree. My pronouns are he/him or they/them. I love my  dog , herbal teas, organizing fandom events (though I’m mostly retired), and traveling. To learn more about me, click here.

Yeah, all of them, even the really old ones full of mary sue original characters and childish rambling author’s notes and random Japanese words peppered everywhere.

I’ve been writing for a long time. I’m a solid writer now, but I definitely did not start that way. I think it’s important to show my oldest work so that I can track my own progress, and also so that others can see where I started and feel heartened in their own creative journeys.

I’m also a huge supporter of internet archival. I believe that once a work is published, it belongs to those who read it as much as the one who wrote it, in a similar way to how a “book on your bookshelf” is yours as well as the author’s. There’s no way to know what piece of mine resonated with someone, no matter how humble or small that piece may be, and I have been devastated by authors who have deleted my favorite fics. I will never do that to you. My works may move from place to place, but there will always be a copy online somewhere for you to read.

Transformative Works Permissions:

• Please don’t host or mirror my fics anywhere, but feel free to download them for your own private collection. You may have an easier time downloading them through AO3.
• I nearly always grant permission to translate/remix/podfic/etc. my fics, but please ask me first. The exception is fanart: as long as you tell me about it so I can lavish you with praise, you don’t need to ask me for permission. Follow your heart.
• You can add my fics to whatever rec lists you want, and talk about them freely on social media! You don’t have to ask, but I’d be honored if you let me know about it. 🙂
